I have had major problems with CRT Construction Services, Inc.(CRT). There are many problems I have had with CRT, but the one now that concerns me the most is that I have sent CRT their agreed to final payment yet they will not provide me with a final Florida LIEN RELEASE. I have documentation through certified mail that Brenda Roberts of CRT received the final payment that Brenda Roberts agreed to. I have an email where Brenda Roberts agreed to my final payment amount and she will not cash the check nor will she agree to sign a final lien release. Brenda Roberts is trying to require me to sign a document that releases CRT from all liabilities for the construction work that CRT did. This is an unusual requirement to ask me to release them from any and all responsibilities for the work CRT did on my home which included a SUN room enclosure with major work, including block and roofing work and installing an air conditioning system. CRT does not even want to assume any responsibility for their own work.
